At Green Kites, we believe the true impact of our work with children cannot be measured by numbers alone. We do not see our STEM workshops as simply a count of how many children attended, but as moments where a spark is lit—the love of science, the excitement of discovery, and the belief that “I can do this too.” That spark, carried forward in their lives, cannot be captured in statistics, yet it may shape who they become and the futures they build. The same is true of our dental and general health workshops. They are preventative, meaning the most important results are the problems that never arise—the toothaches and preventable diseases avoided, the school days not missed, and the confidence children gain from a healthy smile and body. These outcomes are invisible on paper, but deeply felt in the lives of the children and families we serve. We also see impact in the small but powerful changes: a shy child raising their hand for the first time, a girl daring to dream of becoming an engineer, or a group of children working together and realizing their voices matter. These are the transformations that matter most.
