Donate textbooks
In 2025, GKIA donated 520 textbooks to the Primary School of Krông Klang in Đakrông, Quảng Trị, a school serving 180 students, primarily from the Vân Kiều ethnic group. This donation aimed to strengthen the educational development of these students and provide them with the necessary resources to enhance their learning experience.
Also in 2005, upon request from Dak Lak, we extended our book donations to include STEM textbooks for high school students. In remote and disadvantaged areas of Vietnam, accessing English STEM textbooks is nearly impossible. We started small, with only 18 textbooks for Years 7–12, as the level of English in these communities may not yet be sufficient to fully understand the material. Still, these books are essential for both students and teachers, giving them access to the same teaching resources used in more developed countries. We plan to expand this collection to other subjects such as the humanities, social sciences, geography, and environmental studies, once it is confirmed that the books are useful for both teaching and learning.
Our Impact
The donation of 538 textbooks — 520 to the Primary School of Krông Klang in Quảng Trị and 18 to high school students in Đắk Lắk — was an important step in supporting education in these rural areas, ensuring that students have access to quality learning materials This effort underscores the importance of fostering equal educational opportunities for all children, regardless of their ethnic background or geographic location.
